WALK VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Select all volunteer positions where you are interested in serving!
    I agree to ASSUME ALL RISK associated with the event and agree to hold harmless, release, defend and indemnify Courage Through Cancer Ministries from all liabilities and/or claims for injury or death to persons or damage in property arising from engagement in the event.  I also give Courage Through Cancer Ministries permission to use my and/or my family’s image (in picture or video form) in any publication by CTC.

WALK VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS

PARKING TEAM:
We need 6-8 adults to direct traffic and place directional signage to help walkers find where they are going! Parking Team volunteers will serve from 7:30-10:30 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN TEAM:
The Registration and Check-In team will help everyone get ready to walk by checking in those that have pre-registered, collecting donations, and registering new walkers! The Registration/Check-In team will have a training lunch on Friday, October 11 at, 11 AM (We will reach out with lunch details closer to the date of the meeting). This team will serve on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12) beginning at 7:30 AM.
BALLOON PARTY PREP TEAM:
On Friday, October 11 at 1:00 PM, we need a team of 6 or more to help us as we prep the centerpiece of the Courage Through Cancer Walk, the GIANT BALLOON ARCH! The arch is so important as it symbolizes that every walker is still running, still fighting, and being reminded that we don't have to fear! And yes! We will have balloon pumps!! Come help us fill the prep area with colorful balloons that will spark hope for every walker!
BALLOON ARCH SET-UP TEAM:
On the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12) 6 or more volunteers will help us put our GIANT BALLOON ARCH in place and construct it to be a beacon of hope throughout the Courage Through Cancer Walk! This team will begin serving at 7:30 AM on the day of the Walk!
DECORATING TEAM:
Help us add colorful balloons, tablecloths, and banners to the check-in and walking areas! This team will serve from 7:30-8:30 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
T-SHIRT TEAM:
Help us make sure all our walkers have their t-shirt! This team will serve beginning at 7:30 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
WELCOME TEAM: Give directions, welcome walkers, and help everyone get excited about the Walk! The Welcome Team will float to different areas as needed throughout the event. This team will serve beginning at 8:30 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
KIDS T-SHIRT COLORING TEAM: Help kids personalize their Walk t-shirt at the kids' coloring station. This team will serve beginning at 8:30 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
WALK PATH SET-UP TEAM: Decorate the course and help create an exciting environment for those joining us for the Walk. This team will serve beginning at 8:00 AM on the day of the Walk (Saturday, October 12).
