Who We Are

Courage Through Cancer Ministries is a nonprofit, 501(c)3, Christian, cancer-support ministry dedicated to ministry to those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Our Mission

Courage Through Cancer Ministries exists to shine God's light into the darkness: the world of cancer.

Our Story

Picture
In 2008, while battling cancer in her own life, God put a vision and a burden on the heart of Barbara K. Linton for a Christian, cancer-support ministry.  A private, background‐kind‐of‐person, Barbara had no desire to make her personal life public; but, as God continued working in her heart, she knew this was the path the Lord had for her.

Now the story of Barbara’s journey with cancer is told in her book “Living with Cancer”, which gives hope, courage, and strength to others battling cancer in their own lives and families.  You can order a copy today for yourself or someone you know by clicking here.

Our Board

CTC Ministries is governed by a Board of Directors to ensure that every aspect of our ministry is moving to accomplish both the mission and vision of CTC. The following men and women are serving on the current Board of Directors:

Mark Adkins

It seems in today's time, cancer is not a stranger to anyone anymore. My younger brother lost a battle with cancer and my wife Sheri has been in a battle with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia for over a decade. We know how a strong Christian faith serves as an anchor that pushes us through cancer challenges and the Courage Through Cancer Ministry is the partnership that supports the spiritual needs. Mark and his wife Sheri are members at North Florida Baptist Church.
